About TDR Consulting
TDR Consulting is an international development consulting company founded in 2022 by Thomas Churchyard and is based in Mbabane, Eswatini. We specialize in gender, youth, skills-building, governance and evaluation assignments. TDR Consulting’s team of staff and experts also offer strategic planning and change management services for various local clients, including NGOs, government departments and social enterprises.
Over the past years, TDR Consulting has provided professional consulting services to over 25 clients in and across Africa, especially Southern Africa, and internationally.
Our Values and Strategy
We work best when listening to learn and understand and not to reply. We partner with a range of stakeholders, from international development partners and senior government officials to community-level actors to develop solutions which work in practice as well as on paper.
We deliberately seek out experts who demonstrate lifelong commitment to human rights and social justice in all areas of their lives and who are intrinsically motivated to produce high quality, timeous work.
We enjoy troubleshooting big-picture problems with real world, practical solutions, which build on local capacities and knowledge.
We conduct research on gender dynamics and human rights challenges and then use that knowledge to assist in creating effective and sustainable solutions.
